Proposed oversize newsletter design and editorial for the Scott Polar Research Institute and its museum – which is part of the Cambridge University Museums group. Smith conceived the idea editorial structure and design of the newsletter. The newsletter aims to encourage greater public engagement with the museum and issues relating to polar regions, and is structured to communicate with all the institute's stakeholder groups. A 'white' feel to the design and layout was used to echo the snow deserts of polar regions. The editorial covers the history, current activity, news and academic research in the polar regions, with events, exhibitions, behind the scenes insights and outreach activities of the SPRI museum.
